For Owners Manchester · Singapore

What Overseas Owners Need to Know.

Clear answers on fees, property management, compliance, communication and what happens when your plans change.

How Are Your Fees Structured?

Our full management fees and any tenant-find charges will be set out clearly in the fee card before you appoint us.

There are no surprise charges. You will be able to see what is included and what may incur an additional fee from the start.

Who Actually Manages My Property?

Your property is managed by an experienced Manchester-based operations team with more than 10 years of UK lettings and property management experience.

A named contact working in Singapore hours handles your enquiries and updates, so you are dealing with a person rather than a call centre or ticket queue.

Can I Wait Until After Completion to Start Letting?

Yes. However, waiting until after completion may delay marketing and leave the property vacant for longer.

Where possible, we begin preparing and marketing the property before completion so a tenant can move in as close to handover as the build programme allows.

What About UK Tax and Compliance?

We coordinate the practical requirements involved in letting a UK property, including non-resident landlord registration, deposit protection and the relevant gas, electrical and safety certificates.

Where formal tax or legal advice is required, we will connect you with a qualified UK professional. We coordinate the process but do not provide tax or legal advice.

How Will I Know if Something Goes Wrong?

We contact you on the same day when something goes wrong.

While an issue remains open, you will receive a progress update at least every three business days until it is resolved, even when there is no change yet.

How Do I Keep Track of My Property?

You receive clear monthly statements showing rent collected, fees, expenses and the amount paid to you.

We also provide regular updates on open matters, quarterly performance reporting and an annual review of the property with your Crestbrick adviser.

What Happens When the Tenancy Ends or I Want to Sell?

We manage tenancy renewals and review the next steps before the agreement expires.

When you are ready to sell, we help prepare the property and its paperwork, then reconnect you with Crestbrick for resale support.
